Background
I bought my Viper to replace a replica Cobra I built for autocross.

In autocrossing the Viper I had many front tire flat spots because the rear brakes weren't working well enough. Using established auto restoration procedures to keep the costs low, I designed an enlarged bore in the caliper and sleeved the piston to fit. Otherwise, all OEM parts are used. With better rear brakes the car now slows down more quickly and safely, is controllable around tighter turns, and generally handles the way a Viper should have from the factory. I have yet to lose a Viper autocross event, even against Gen 2 ABS cars and newer Vipers with four-piston rear calipers.
Over 125 128 129 147 pairs have been sold, including one pair to the Viper Wizard, Chuck Tator, for his personal car.
